Fillings are the most conservative approach of restoring a tooth. When a cavity is removed, a filling is placed to restore the tooth, as long as it is not a large area of tooth structure. 

 

Composite

Composite is made up of a plastic resin material and it has grown quite popular due to the esthetic properties of matching the shade to your teeth. We recommend placing composite restorations because they are more esthetic. Placing composites on posterior teeth typically has higher insurance copay.
